No .the foodbanks have to follow the rules .95% of all foods that are outta date are still edible and absolutely safe to eat..aside from fresh produce dry goods are typically good and completely safe to eat .The foodbanks are required to inspect all foods that enter their facility...I assure you that these foods are edible and safe for consumption. .but rule of thumb is- -when in doubt throw it out...its still your choice to use these pantries foodbanks and area soup kitchens....I hope this helps
