To make a difference in the life of others is an unexplainable feeling. They accept volunteers/community service every weekday. Good place for students 18years or older to get in their community service hours.

Hi Jenn, Thank you for your question. We partner with over 425 partner agencies throughout the state. The NH Food Bank will also be hosting a Fresh Food Pantry every Wednesday from April 24th through October 16. It takes place at our location 700 East Industrial Park Drive Manchester, NH around the backside of our building. This is open to anyone in need. All you need to bring is bags/boxes and you will received fresh produce and other assorted items. Lastly, every Saturday morning Food For Children hosts an outdoor food drop in the parking lot of the JFK Coliseum 303 Beech Street in Manchester, NH from 8:30-Noon. This is also open to anyone in need. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to call us at 603-669-9725.
You need to have an agent number and have or be part of a food pantry you also need to take a shopper's course to shoppe the floor at the food bank it's not open to the general public you need to be a member

Sorry. We. Don't
No .the foodbanks have to follow the rules .95% of all foods that are outta date are still edible and absolutely safe to eat..aside from fresh produce dry goods are typically good and completely safe to eat .The foodbanks are required to inspect all foods that enter their facility...I assure you that these foods are edible and safe for consumption. .but rule of thumb is- -when in doubt throw it out...its still your choice to use these pantries foodbanks and area soup kitchens....I hope this helps
I'm not sure. My daughter and sister work there they don't make a lot of money but they do get paid, as do others. I believe they have a lot of fund raisers. Farms and stores donate lots of food and veggies. They make money catering special events. They provide and deliver tons of delicious nutritious food to shelters and soup kitchens all over the state. I believe all of the money donated is budgeted and used to feed way more people than I knew existed. I hope this helps a little please donate if you can. If your hungry please go to a soup kitchen they are there to help. They also teach free classes on how to cook so someone may be able to find a new direction in life to provide for their family.
Food Bank receives food donation from various sources (grocery stores, etc) and distributes or makes meals with the food to people or organizations in need. If you're volunteering there (or doing community service) they'll provide a quick instruction course and you'll be sorting/packing food to be distributed. Good place, great cause!
