Drive in, find an all day garage for around $20-30. Then walk take the subway (the T), or rent a bike and easily make your way around the city. Hard Rock is about a 20 minute bike ride or a 30 minute walk from the museum
There is a green line subway stop just across the street, so find a parking spot or all day lot near a green line subway station if you can.
The MFA is a 15 minute drive from the hard rock cafe. All day parking might be a bit harder but the Museum does have a parking garage and so does Hard Rock.
