Most cats I have seen while volunteering there will have a note about them and I have seen some who are positive for some health issues but they do come fully vetted and microchipped. Alot of their ailments aren't contagious and can be treated
They say they do check the animals, but they let us adopt a dog with out telling us she had kennel cough, and she coughed at the shelter, and we asked about it, they said she was fine, then when we called to tell them, they were rude and flippant, and we were like "the dogs around her probably have it."
Great spot
Yes
They give shots at the shelter, if you bring a pet home I pray you keep that pet away from other pets until you have them checked over by your veterinarian check what shots there already gotten at Shelter and make sure they are not sick, most will have a very contagious cold virus. But I still pray you adopt. They desperately need a home. NO PET LEFT BEHIND.. They need care and love.
