I understand if they tell you to be there at 630am write 630 even if bus driver is 5 mins late. But you put the time you walk off the bus at the end of the day.

vicent, ive been a bus rider for several years and yes, your time starts when you set foot on the bus and ends when you step off after that it is consider either extra hours if you are either an 6hr asst , 7hr asst but if you are an 8hr asst thats consider over time. my advise from previous experiences is to keep notes and proof of your time and hours and if you can get the name of the bus driver and the time he/she dropped you off and if the bus driver can sign everytime you were dropped off (just because theirs always covers drivers too) . just like a overtime sheet, don't for get the route # very important . Believe me ive learn thru so many experiences in going to many schools.. hope this was helpful to you?

It is my understanding that are bus ride hours are based on the bus drivers route sheet, my student's pick up is 7am & drop off is 3:30....anything over 8hrs is considered overtime. Can anyone in the Local clarify???
