You have hundreds of employees working at out of Classification, getting paid less than they should. Covid has done nothing but make things worse. You have Supervision aides and campus aides library aides, doing duties of special education aides, IT technicians. Office technicians. And filling in for teachers because substitutes don't show up. And not getting paid what is deserved. Its seems all the best employees are quitting and leaving for other school districts.

Take your money and do nothing for you. They allow employees to work out of classification. Paid dues for over 20 years and when I was needing help with trying to show how management was walking all over my department with out of class employees working on positions that they are not hired to work. Forms technicians working in reprographics worker classification and being paid forms technicians wages which are much higher pay scale just because management didn't like someone. Why is there even a personal commission if managers do what ever they want.

It is true. They take your money and do absolutely nothing for you. I had a big issue this past school year. Filled out an inquiry form. I have heard NOTHING from them. It has been months! I called. Left many messages. Called again. Went to local union office here in the valley during their business hours. The place was closed when it was suppose to be open and it looked so dumpy inside. TO hell with them. I am OUT!

If a school is implementing a testing strategy, testing should be offered on a voluntary basis. It is unethical and illegal to test someone who does not want to be tested, including students whose parents or guardians do not want them to be tested. It is not recommended to retest individuals who have tested positive and do not have symptoms for COVID-19 for up to 3 months from their last positive test. Data currently suggest that some individuals test persistently positive due to residual virus material but are unlikely to be infectious. Parents or guardians may request documentation from their health care provider to indicate the date and type of the student's most recent COVID-19 test. Dec 4, 2020 https://www.cdc.gov › community

Is it a new rule that you are able to speak Spanish in the Cafeterias now? If so how is that possible when that is a big safety issue.

Because people have a right to speak whatever language they're comfortable with & no law can be written demanding that a person speak a certain language without infringing on their 1st Amendment rights.
