I suggest that you check with the H.A. themselves here in Long Beach. There is a new building about to open (they are not saying when) for 62 and up. Great location, very new building. Seniors mostly if not only.
I'm afraid that you would have to wait until Long Beach opens again. From the sound of things this could take a while. You might consider looking at other near by locations that currently offer open enrollment. I'm not sure who open right now but suggest checking Lomita, Hawaiin Gardens, and Los Angeles county for starters. Good luck.
