How hilly is the garden? (My travelling companion has knee problems and has trouble with steep inclines.)

There aren't any steep inclines for the walking paths. There are slight ones, though, but nowhere near a hike nor as hilly as the rest of SF

I have a knee problem and use a walking stick and found the walk entirely manageable. Mostly flat ground and even wide paths.

I would describe it as basically flat. The succulent garden is terrorist but it's not necessary to walk in the Terrace area you can enjoy it going straight in front of it.

There aren't many hills at all. None are extreme. The paths vary in development, some are unpaved trails and others are paved paths.

No worries, its pretty plane for the most part.

No hills at all, barely any inclines.
