Are pets (non service) and in a carrier allowed at citiwalk?

I never even saw a single pet while I was there now that I think about it

I searched their website under services Service Animals are welcome in all of our restaurant and merchandise locations, attraction queues and most other locations throughout Universal Studios Hollywood. Please stop by Guest Relations to register your Service Animal and obtain a Riders Guide. Pets however, are prohibited from the Park and CityWalk.

We did see a few dogs there in the evening, although I can't be sure they weren't service animals.

Come to think about it, I didn't see any leashed pets either, but then I wasn't looking for them.

They do have the K-9 dogs (police) there however I’m not sure if you can bring your pets. I used to work there and they never really said anything that you can’t have your pets

Well, this is what I found on one of their visiting sites for tourists, "Your dog is welcome to join you in visiting the Hollywood Walk Of Fame." You can actually see the Hollywood stars and paw prints of famous dog actors, such as Lassie, whose star is on Hollywood Boulevard between Cahuenga and Ivar, and Rin Tin Tin, whose star is on Vine Street."
