Can we take our own food or is nothing from outside permitted and do we have to rent a cabana to be able to have somewhere to sit ?

You can take a cooler with food and drinks, they have a storage place for them by the entrance its $20. Water and sports drinks are the only things you can take inside. You have to arrive early to find somewhere to sit.

You cannot take food in, only water. If you get there before gates open you have a chance of getting lounge chairs in the shade. There are table to eat at by the food places as well.
