Here's what they have on their website: "Restaurant Depot is wholesale only. To qualify for a free membership account, on your first visit you need to show a valid reseller's permit (business license) or tax-exempt certificate (for a non-profit organization) and show proof that you are authorized to purchase for said business or organization."
They have an application form and the tax exemption form. You need your business tax id number. It's been a while so I don't remember they want FEIN and MO sales tax number. I would take both just in case. They accept checks and all credit cards.
