Scorpion once, we have not seen Coyotes. Snakes yes, but just back up, keep the snake in sight. They will attempt to get away. Just let them go by.
I never seen scorpions and Coyotes never. Mainly snakes from my experience. They usually appear on a real hot day and on lower grounds. Also, sometimes close to sunset as well. I've taken countless hikes and only encountered them a handful of times; you should be fine.
