If you mean can you walk up the stream to the oasis, no. The oasis is closed since it's still recovering from a fire in 2020. There are signs. The trail leads to an overlook across from the oasis.
No. There are signs that say stay on the trail. There is a sign that says: "Stay on Trail, Critical Lamb Watering Areas. YOUR PRESENCE IN THE CREEK BED ENDANGERS LAMBS. THEY NEED TO DRINK TO STAY ALIVE. LAMBS NEED UNDISTURBED ACCESS TO WATER. OBSERVE QUIETLY FROM THE TRAIL."
I didn't see any warning signs not to walk in the water
I hiked there twice in the last three weeks. I hiked both the main and alt trail and didn't see any signs about not walking in the water. The oasis area is closed for habitat restoration.
