We do our best but if they tell us it is a service dog we have no choice. It is a Health Department regulation but we have no power to enforce. We can only inform.
Staff are scared to ask or enforce. We constantly ask guests to leave with dogs. Some claim service dog, we call their BS, and tell them there is a law to call your dog a service dog when it's not, and they can call police or leave. They all leave. The ADA will back you with fake service dogs.
Trish is right! I worked at a hotel and same. Talk to the health department.
