Balcony are, higher up and further away from the stage
You always want to be on the balcony. If there isn't any seating on the balcony try to sit somewhere past the balcony centerish for floor seats. If you sit under the balcony you lose alot of sound quality.
Balcony is better
Balcony is great unless it's a piano concerto. Experience suggests left of center if you want to see the performer's hands. Call in advance to verify. The acoustics are good anywhere.
