A lot of people go there but I have shown up on Friday and got a spot,we also have a toy hauler.also there is a big gravel area that cost nothing to stay at.
Friday night you'd be pretty lucky to find a site in the developed campgrounds, especially on a nice weekend or Holiday weekend. They fill up fast, especially in June/July. Earlier in the season you'd have a good chance of it. If the campgrounds are full, there is also a gravel lot/staging area that people camp in not too far from the regular campsites that is free and definitely big enough for the largest of toyhaulers. However, it's in the sun and gets hot/dusty.
