It actually makes more sense to purchase the Executive Membership if you spend $300 or more a month since you will receive $2 back for every hundred you spend. For $300 a month, or $3600 a year, that equals $72 in rebate. Plus there are other savings with the Executive level such as new and refinanced mortgage loan discounts, and the ability to apply for the Citi VISA card which offers cash back in the form of a Costco cash card each year.
$120 executive membership is worth taking if you spend $1000 a month. Else better go for standard $60
