My wife and my ID cards expire at the end of OCT. DO we just bring them in to renew them or do we have to bring more paper work with us? We are retired and just renewing the cards.

Call for an appointment. Bring your ID card plus 1 more. Renew it before it expires otherwise you would need his DD214
