Try calling and asking a question… serious language barrier. The person I spoke with (probably a GS4) couldn’t answer the 1 question I had. And then became argumentative. After I asked the question again, he asked me more questions… and instructed me to make an appointment on the web site… I don’t need an appointment. I need you to answer a question. It was all I wanted. Then he called me after I hung up. On my personal phone. Okay, that’s not creepy. An unsolicited phone call to tell me that I’m an idiot.

Wonderful, Ms. Gonzalez was extremely pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this office. Making an appointment through Rapids ID Office is easy, and they will be ready for you at your appointment time.

Hard for me to find cuz I haven’t been there before an the st sign for 65th street coming from mill plain was covered by tree branches, so I missed the sign. Once I got there after calling an getting personal directions by a friendly person, I got right in an staff was very pleasant an timely. 👍🏻

Yes you can either go into the office to sign the 1172-2 in person, or get it notarized or fill one out on the id card office online.
You have to go in person. You might be able to go to the Oregon national guard base at PDX .

Yes. You will need to bring in your award letter from the VA that states you are 100%, a copy of your DD214 and 2 forms of ID. If you have a spouse you will also need to bring your marriage certificate and your spouses government issued ID and social security card. Please call us if you have any further questions.
You will need 2 forms of ID (driver's license, passport, expired military ID, birth certificate, social security card, primary item must be a valid photo ID) and if this is your first military ID since he passed away you will also need a certified copy of the death certificate.
If you have a power of attorney from your husband or if he sent you a DD FORM 1172-2 that he has signed you can come in and get your ID card. If you are not enrolled in DEERS yet there will be more documents required as well. You can call 360-885-7031 if you have anymore questions.
Marriage certificate, government issued photo ID and social security card for the new spouse. The sponsor has to be present as well. All documents must be original or certified copies. If you have a precious spouse that has not been removed by the sponsor you must also have certified divorce documents.
Call for an appointment. Bring your ID card plus 1 more. Renew it before it expires otherwise you would need his DD214
No. You do not have to shave if you are a retired military member, only if you are a currently serving military member.
You'll need your birth certificate and such other documents that prove that you are actually you
