What type of rifle or hunting weapon can one purchase without a license?

It is a 5 day wait without a gun permit. And all firearm purchases are 21 years old now.

Florida does not require a weapons license. Without a CWL (concealed weapon license), there is a 3 day waiting period. You must be 18 or older for long weapons and 21 or older for handguns. Federal background check is mandatory. I do not know the rules for non-resident purchases.

I'm sure you'll need state ID and or drivers license

No license needed in Florida for a hunting rifle. Will still need to pass a background check and have a waiting period though
