These guys in here need better training or better management. My husband and I walked in at 615pm fully prepared to purchase 2 hand guns. We asked 3 times for assistance. There were at least 8 guys working. We were patient as everyone was busy. Half of them were doing their cleaning duties. 1 guy became available and just stood behind the counter talking. I am a customer. I am not going to ask a 4th time for assistance. We will spend our money elsewhere.

Pros: very good inventory, very good staff. Cons: range area can really use some upgrades. Ventilation has HEAVY AC vents at some spots, blind spots with no air in others. Area is also very congested, floors messy. Lack of consistent range officer presence. Targets can be better.

Pricey for shooting lane rental. Even pricier for ammunition. Do yourself a favor and buy ammo elsewhere. They allow steel case ammo to be used. Lanes themselves are OK and clean. A/c in the shooting range is inconsistent between lanes: ie some are hot, others are cooled. Not the best shooting range. Not exactly the worst either.

Purchased a pump action shotgun from here. Had ejection/extraction issues right out the gate (malfunctioned 1/10 the time cycling unfired shells, closer to 1/2 the time cycling spent shells, tried with 3 different ammo brands and 3 different shooters all having the same issue). Took it to their gunsmith under warranty. He cycled only 4 dummy shells through without an issue and refused to examine it any closer. Ended up selling it back to them for half the original price. Hate losing that kind of money but I wouldn’t want to sell a gun that I know to be defective to someone else.

That's exactly why it was my first gun from shoot straight!
They look at them sometimes but don't run the numbers
Call animal control
They should be by now..
Casual!!! Make sure you have your headphones n safety glasses..Happy Shooting!!!
No, only to purchase a firearm. Your valid driver's license/ID is all you need.
I know they do offer concealed weapons classes don't be a felon or have a domestic violence charge price varies you have the cost of the class also the cost of the filing of paperwork you have to discharge a firearm and I believe it's 4 to 6 hour class
1 lane for 1 hour will cost $20 with 3 paper targets 🤗
No
No felony convictions proof of residence a approved concealed weapons gun safety course and a state concealed weapons application. You can ask at the store and the employees will point you in the right direction. You don't need a license to own a gun just too carry it on your person. You can carry your gun in your car at your house at gun ranges hunting or fishing without a license.
Absolutely, they also have a 100 yard range if you're looking to reach out and touch some targets.
You might want to go in to the store so they can see it.
If no cwp, 3 days. However, if you are trading and without a cwp, the "cool down period" is waived since you already have a gun on hand.
There is a state fee and a range fee. Check for both. They may change
I can confirm that. No reloads, tracer rounds, or armour piercing. Ive shot tula there with no complaints, other than from myself. Stuff is dirty.
they buy something when you bringing it to the store and they looked it up
Shoot straight hours all the fun shows in the state of Florida. Well any of the big ones. And they will have more than enough for you to look at
Rifles and handguns, yes. Unfortunately, Sig Sauer Bi-pods are not generally available at this location.
There are three different range bays. There "A" range is pistol only and 25 yards. "B" range is 25 yards long and can accommodate rife, pistol and shotgun (buckshot and slug only, no birdshot). "C" range is rifle with mounted optics only, no shotguns or pistols allowed on "C", and its 100 yards long. All prices are the same. 15 per person per hour.
if you need it for you transfer best way to talk about it with them at least over the phone so they could email it to you
Yes they do. Minimum 25% down up front. You have 30 days to pay the remaining balance off.
Yes put it in a case, hand it to the guy in the case let him know it's jammed, that should be close enough for everyone to be happy
once you complete the concealed carry class they will tell you how to apply for the license and help you with the forms and by the way with your certificate of class completion you just need to drive about a quarter mile north on highway 301 from that shoot straight location to see on the right Florida Bureau of Agriculture Tampa local office where you can simply walk in and get your photo and fingerprints and all the forms done in once and get your license...
Firearms are rented at this location. However, there are a couple stipulations in place. The first of which is that you must be a member of shoot straight in order to rent and be in possession of an operational firearm. The other stipulation applies if you do not have your own firearm; if you do not have your own firearm you must be in possession of a concealed weapons license or be accompanied by somebody with a concealed weapons license and or an operational firearm. With an active membership your first rental is free. Each subsequent rental is $10.
No I can't answer any questions about this establishment so please quit asking me.
if you have proper ID you can rent one for about $50 with 1hour lane time a couple targets and some ammo including
It's more of a height requirement for the range. They have to be able to get their arms over the divider and parallel to the ground. That way the kidos are not aiming at the ceiling. The divider is approximately three and a half feet off the ground.
The rates are $15.00 per person, per hour. However, it it's not busy, and there is no line, you can shoot as long as you like. $5.00 for military/first responder, and Monday's is lady's day so they shoot for free all day Monday.
