what do i need to bring for CA ID? i went there twice and they kept telling me different things like “need SSN, birth cert/updated passport” then “oh we need a letter of proof with name, birthdate, and address” WTF ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO BRING?!?!

If ur during the first step to get a California ID you do need proof of residency or passport and birth certificate
