The camp sites are above on a bluff overlooking the ocean/beach. You have to walk down a small hill and walk through a small tunnel to get to the beach. We typically drive down to the day parking area near the beach from our camp site to get to the beach.
There's a road straight from the campground down to the beach! You don't even have to worry about crossing PCH
