Yes, personal checks are accepted for on-time payments starting with your second month's rent. Your initial move-in and security deposit, and any late payments, must be paid with cashier's check or money order.
I believe it's fine, if the checks and the bank had been previously known about , the transactions and that they would be happening , it's fine definitely has to be accredited ,something done for previously at the bank ,then, rent & any other transactions could be done. Thanks for asking
