Hi. I have reservations at South Carlsbad State beach. Two in our party will arrive after 10 pm? Will it be possible for them to enter the campgrounds? Could we pre register her vehicle and she will be able to park overnight? Is the entrance closed

No locks on the entrance.enter at anytime, pay in the morning

No Worries they don't lock the gate you can pay the extra vehicle in the morning .they are open 815 to 8 if your after 8pm the gate doesn't lock you can come and go as you please

Yes, pre register their vehicle at check in and they may have you take the tag for the second vehicle. You might have to meet them at the entrance to deliver the second tag

Yes they can enter. You can pay in advance for 2 motor vehicles. The second vehicle will cost you $15 per day.
