One or twice a month would be excellent! You have to be 13 years of older and accompanied by a parent or guardian if you're underage. You can sign up at their volunteer website and registee for Dog Team, Cat Team, or Adoptions Team First Day Training, where they'll go over everything you need to know to get started.
