Called to report a stray wounded cat & your reply was you don't rescue. I wonder what you do with all your donations?

I think it speaks volumes that I’ve enjoyed my time with this organization so much that after hearing about them from my roommate (who used to foster for them), I’ve adopted, volunteered, and fostered all with Stray Cat Alliance. There’s so many cats and cat non-profits in LA that honestly it seems overwhelming at times. SCA does their best to partner with and help out other LA organizations , even though they’re relatively small in comparison! They’re a small but mighty organization 🥰

Good resource for humane assistance to feral cats.

Terrible communication, no system or protocol in place for fostering. They act like they don't really want anyone to foster. Went to a different shelter and was able to help a kitty within a couple of days. I'm sure they are not all bad but if you want to foster go elsewhere.

I'm not a cat expert, but I would say your cat is just afraid and non trusting. Feed it and talk to it to win trust. It will learn very quickly that you are it's source of food and that you obviously mean no harm. Just be patient and the hissing will stop. It will learn not to hiss the hand that feeds it.
