Yes, it is the only shelter families can stay together. But it is not a very good shelter. Your food will turn up missing, your kids will get extremely sick and/or get lice, and ths staff tend to play favoritism
Yeah if you want your kids taken away, they call cps. They have called on 8 other families at the same time.
Yes, you can stay as family. It's not abad shelter, just lots of people trying to get through stressful times. Yes, it's been hard and people have gotten sick, but it's because of the weather/season. Lice isn't an issue, anymore than at schools or other facilities. The staff is doing their best, given short of enough help. They're good-hearted, just overwhelmed with how many personalities live here. I'd recommend it compared to the street.
