As other have said, yes you can swim, and if timed right the tide will keep it shallow by the shore, and you might some warmer water, if sunny. The pool is also close to the shore, makes for a great view and much warmer than the ocean.
Swimming is allowed in all the water both where the Kayaks are put in the water and the dock area.Water temperature was normal for that time of the summer.Not to cold, just about right.
You can swim. Water is just really cold. We were there this past weekend. Kids couldnt go in further than their ankles. Waters so cold their feet turned red. Lol
