If you are someone of color this place is not I repeat NOT for you, the town is racist and so is the people staying in the hotel, me and my mom came for a relaxing getaway and left more stressed then when we came, the food is ok but the service is not, for this place to be expensive it’s not worth it at all. Every white person there was just mean mugging and not even looking us in the eyes it was just a terrible experience and a terrible place to be. I repeat PEOPLE OF COLOR DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

We have been blown away by the hospitality, services, and property (pool/spa, yes!) at Lafayette Park. A complete joy to stay here. Every member of the front desk staff, in particular, showed our family authentic care and kindness. We took advantage of the area, walking distance to downtown Lafayette and that adorable Headlands Brewery -- and the Lafayette Reservoir too! Thank you to Lafayette Park for everything!

Nichole who answered the front desk phone is extremely rude and condescending. I will NOT stay at this hotel again because how she treated me. She should be fired, I had very simple check in and check out times for my questions. So rude I was in complete shock. I will write reviews on every single website I can find on the internet for the way I was treated. Never have I ever experienced in my life such treatment from a hotel.

Classy, heavily themed without being kitschy, and thoroughly professional. A great place to stay in the area, minutes away from various East Bay locations, and would absolutely stay here again.
