Stayed 2 nights in one of the classic cozy cabins midweek in June 2022. It was the perfect size for my adult daughter and me to enjoy a mother-daughter getaway in the Bend area. We enjoyed the quiet location with the territorial views of the canyon. No sharing a wall with other guests like in a hotel, so it was plenty quiet. 😀 In June, it's a bit light in the early morning, so bring (or purchase) a sleeping mask if you don't want to wake up at 5 am. Blinds on all windows except the obscured one over the sink (which also reflects on the mirror), but plenty of light still comes in through the blinds. The mini fridge was a plenty big to hold our items we brought, plus a few containers from restaurants with our leftovers. Freezer was big enough to keep our ice pack frozen from our cooler. There were plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, etc. I liked that the sink was outside of the bathroom (separate room just for toilet and shower... with great water pressure!), so it was accessible even when shower was being used. Nice artwork on the walls of local attractions like Tupelo Falls and Smith Rock State Park, both of which we visited and thoroughly enjoyed. And a cute little mountain pillow on the bed. The bed was very comfortable, too. Next time we come to the Bend area, we will stay here again, if available. There are only 4 of these cozy cabins, so they go fast.

Pros Amazing amazing amazing location. Remote enough to feel secluded, scenery is fantastic. Cute welcome sign in the room and whole bean coffee with a grinder made for a nice cup of joe in the morning. The Lodge room I had was very spacious with two comfortable queen (?) beds, a large dining table, couch, and decent kitchen space. It would be very suitable for a family. Check-in is easy with the code to get in emailed the day before arrival. Cons Some of the furnishings in the Lodge room were a bit dated, the couch wasn't super comfortable and the kitchen table was lightly stained and scratched. The curtains are quite thin so it was difficult to keep the room dark, although the sunrise from the back is amazing! The biggest issue I had and the reason for the -1 star was that I had booked and was super excited for the Cabin experience on the ranch. I wasn't interested in the Lodge room, otherwise I would have booked a Lodge room. At 8:35PM the night before my stay, I was informed I was moved from the Cabin I booked to a Lodge room. I believe there are six total Lodge rooms in the building and I was put on the first floor, and able to clearly hear the conversations and movement of the guests above me. It certainly wasn't the relaxing stay I had expected, and the reason I elected to book my stay at Crooked River Ranch Cabins. At the very least a phone call or email to ask if I would be ok with this would have been appreciated. Don't let this review dissuade you from staying here, the location is amazing; but perhaps if you are keen on staying in either the Cabin or Lodge, perhaps make that evident in your booking.

More than we expected. Meagan made sure we were comfortable, brought us wood and welcomed us with a personal message on the little chalkboard in the cabin. The cabins are small but tastefully appointed. There are soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower. Mini fridge, microwave and hot water pot along with fresh beans and a coffee grinder in the cabinets. The large grassy area in front of our cabin has a gazebo, disc golf, pickle ball and a kids play structure with a mini climbing wall. There are deck chairs and a nice deck along with individual fire rings. The cabins overlook the golf course with spectacular cliffs as the backdrop. I would say "Stay here" but I don't want it to be full when I come back! Lol Crooked River Ranch Cabins deserves your business. We will be back!

We stumbled upon this place as we were road tripping through Oregon and loved it so much we stayed another night. It was winter time and very cold (-1), so having a cozy place to lay are heads was so wonderful. We were able to hike Steelhead Falls (gorgeous in the winter with hardly anybody there), and Redmond was close enough to get groceries. We want to come back in the summer to do more!! Looks like they offer so many fun activities in addition to the beautiful landscape.

Do the cabins have AC?

The small cabins #1 to #4 have a window unit that was able to cool the cabin, even at 99 degrees outside, as long as the door isn't left open.

Do the vacation (airB&B) cabins have horse facilities? A couple of friends live there and I want to spend a week or so riding with them.

I don't remember seeing anything about facilities for horses, while I was at the cabins.
