Because Walmart doesn't trust customers to check themselves out correctly so if they see something suspicious they have your information on record.
I went there 2 days ago and used the cash self check-out, worked fine for me.
Its because the cash dispenser gets Jammed so thats why they are on cards plus some are lazy to do the machines so they keep them on cards only then they wonder why customers get upset not enough people to work
IfThere are to many cards with a problem, they will have the machine be cash only so they can go back and check on the cards.so therefore the cash only.
Because the richest family in America is too cheap to actually pay employees who will put the change in the machines.
I think it depends on the location. I have been to some where they are both.
