I've been a REI member since 1984, when the store in Salt Lake City opened. I've never regretted paying that one-time membership fee, (it was $10 back then) as the dividends piled up over the years. The new store in Conway NH opened just after my wife and I moved here, and they have the same excellent level of service as in SLC. New Hampshire is fortunate to have an REI store.

The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful! Basically everyone here is an outdoor enthusiast and can share from their own experience. When they don’t have much experience in a specific field, they quickly redirect you to a colleague who does. Going here and talking to real people is much more informative (and enjoyable) than browsing through Internet forums! Good prices and great return / satisfaction policy.

I love REI! They have everything you could need from camping, hiking, skiing,and mountain biking. I have always found friendly knowledgeable staff. And the return policy is amazing. Buy it and try it in the real world. under real conditions, if it's not working for you return or exchange it for something else. What an amazing company ☺️
