GHH operates under the premise of "Transitional housing" & IS funded by Federal Grants specifically allocated to provide safe refuge at NO COST to women or those who identify as a woman, who R in a crisis, suffer severe Mental Health, battle addiction w/drugs or alcohol. Yet there is no psych available, no nurse 2 dispense meds, no spprt just kickd out if relapse, Months after being denied, a Social Worker (thrilled believing she found me a place BC they had beds avail) handed me the phone & 1st thng i hear is, "So U hv incm?" then i ws HUNG UP ON whn I said some, but can't afford $517. 7mths i collected data & was appalled at the lack of concern for the welfare of those most fragile & vulnerable. Discrimination, invasion of privacy, Serv dogs denied fr 30 dys and much much more.

Hi Elizabeth, there is no fee for Grandma's House of Hope services, unless you are applying for our long term senior supportive housing program. All other services are free and have been since 2017 through the generous support of our donors, foundation partners and contracts with the OCHCA , CALOES and CESH
