Definitely would not advice you to work here!! The YMCA only has very little opportunities (positions) to work for. Something to mention is the fact that they are starting you off with a rate of $14hr For group leaders being essential workers around children and all other staffs around school. You will only work few hours 3hrs and a half sometimes you will be let out way before 6pm.. Will it really be worth your time working here getting paid so little if you don’t have any experience with children I would not apply here as a part-time worker you will not have any benefits as-well only if you are considered working full time. People come and go tbecause they don’t like the idea of this. Don’t waist your time there’s other jobs paying much more.

They never gave me a refund, even though I called multiple times and emailed them. I enrolled my son in one class, but I had rejected the confirmation because I was unable to make the time (i rejected two minutes after checkout). I left a voicemail to the program director and they still have not called me back. This happened in the beginning of August and I have still not receive my money back.

This YMCA is so racist and ill-mannered to a point I won't advise or recommend anyone to work or join membership there. I once had a membership with this YMCA and decided to cancel because I was mistreated by some of the staff. Ms. Edsinga is so fake and her intern as well. I applied for a job within their department this past June 2012 but they refused to hire me because of my ethnic background. I advise you not to work here.
