Hey Guys! This looks like a really nice shelter! I was curious as to whether or not you guys accept volunteers to work here, and how old they have to be. Do you guys accept volunteers aged 12-13?

Thank you. Our animals are all in foster homes which is so much better for them than a shelter. Yes we are always accepting volunteers. Just go to Dogwood Animal Rescue Project and fill out an application to volunteer. There are many different ways to volunteer. My daughter has been helping since she was 12 years old. We foster in our home and she has learned so much. It also was accepted by her school requirement for community service. Good luck and thank you for inquiring. Barbara
