Hello, I was wondering if there are any hotels nearby? I was planning on visiting San Francisco and I wanted to also see the Legion of Honor as well. Are there any hotels within walking distance?

I recommend the The Laurel Inn in Laurel Heights or perhaps the Inn at the Presidio. However both hotels are an hour walk to the Legion of Honor. However, Laurel Heights is north of golden gate park and south of the Legion of Honor. There are public buses and Lyft and Uber are also options. I strongly suggest staying as far away from Union Square as possible as it is quite terrible. If you are interested in the Legion of Honor I suggest you also consider the DeYoung Museum, the conservatory of Flowers and the Japanese garden. Which are all in Golden Gate Park.

Yes....after living in SF there the beautiful Seal Rock Inn on Geary. It's also close to The Sutton baths , a fun place hike the Cliff house is great to have a cocktail or dinner close to sun set and get view of the Pacific Ocean.

I don't think so. Uber is an alternative for going places too far to walk. Consider an Air b n b in the area or vrbo which may be within walking distance. That's what we did.

You'll find a few hotels along Geary street but it would be probably closer to 2 miles from the museum. Sorry I don't have specific hotel names. Easier to take the bus or uber to museum from that distance
