Don't be cheap on your best friend, IMO if you're looking for an adoption bargain than you might not be able to afford vaccines and veterinarian services besides the money that you pay for adoption helps other pets find a loving home, please consider my suggestion, a pet is a serious commitment and for the pets entire life, good luck to you
They also have a newsletter you can sign up for on their websites that will email you when they have adoption specials like $5 cats or what have you. They won't spam you with a ridiculous amount of emails either.
They have great deals around the holidays
They usually have $5 adoption events near holidays. More often for cats than dogs though.
You need to look for when it is a national adoption day. Those are the cheapest days. They have them a few times a year.
