You have to be at least 16 years old to apply to volunteer in any of these animal shelters, but if you are younger someone has to go with you as a chaperone for fear that you might get bitten by a ferel dog, cat or rabbit and sue them. Good luck!

I believe you only have to be 12. At least that is the age to volunteer at the spca.
