There are a number of parking lots in walking distance to the ferry. Best bet is to google parking to find the lots. Metered parking accepts credit cards.
There is parking at the Landing on the island side. This is a cool commercial, restaurant area. There is parking at Seaport Village or street side on the San Diego side. Seaport Village is fun to explore as well.

Street or parking lot. Street parking is a lil $$ it was about 5 or something an hour and a half. If you spend the day or even a couple hours park in a lot.
