We were there last weekend and used the propane fire pit. The forest service guy came by to check that it was propane, and said we were fine with it.
I believe that propane fire pits are allowed. Basic requirement was that on/off valves were required.
We used a propane fire pit.
No fires. No fires or flames of any kind. I suggest inexpensive Flickering led lanterns from Amazon. Look like real fire but only led lights.
