We staid at this park as Thousand Trails members. It was obvious coming into this park that the more heavily used member camping area was not as well kept as the KOA part as the MC area was not much more than an unkempt dust bowl vs the KOA area sites were well graveled and leveled. None of the sights were full hookup necessitating use of the common restroom. The lodge, restrooms, pool and hot tub were well kept making the stay a bit better, however, the bad part came at the end when we needed to empty our tanks. The dump station has a sign stating you must use their sewer hose. What they didn’t say is that the hose coupling lacked a gasket. I hook it up and open my black tank and fetid urine begins shooting out of the unsealed holes into my wet bay. The fact that this is a common item all their guests must use which is set up to fail felt like a practical joke gone too far. I’m hoping a park manager sees this review and does something to prevent this in the future.

One of the best Thousand Trails in the system. The cleanest restroom I've ever found.it is a resort. All clean and well maintained. Note: roads for TT are narrow and you have to be careful backing in. 44' rig, which we have, can be done but is a challenge. No sewer. Electric and water. 1/2 are 50 amp the rest 30 amp. Great staff. Knowledgeable and friendly. 2 pools and a small lake with rentals.

This campground is shared with KOA. That being said, the KOA side is very nice and well maintained. The KOA side also has a few full hookups. The campground itself is in a beautiful setting with a small lake you can walk to. One is able to canoe, Kayak, or fish in the lake. Thousand Trails shares these amenities with KOA. Thousand Trails side of the campground is on hilly unmaintained roads. Many of the campsites are small. Some are big. This is not an easy campground to maneuver a very large 5th wheel around. Did see it being done though. Many campsites are not maintained, in fact, some were hard to recognize as campsites. Most of the sites are unlevel. If you are there during heavy rains, the trailer tends to sink in the ground. We had to move sites two times before we found a site where the trailer would not sink easily. There are no full hookups on the Thousand Trails side. There is a honey dipping service offered for $45. Personally, I feel for being a member, that service should be included. The bathrooms were clean, but not convenient. Same with trash receptacles. We ended up on an ant hill and we're fighting ants constantly. While we were here the water line broke and it has been four days so far without water and we are still waiting. The bathrooms are shut down. We managed to fill our tanks while there was still a little water flowing before it was totally shut down. People had no choice but to use their own bathrooms or walk over to the KOA side, which was a little distance. Thousand Trails still charged $45 to dump tanks, even though there was not much choice in usage. We could take our trailers over to the dump station, but the roads are very hilly, narrow, and not well maintained. It was better to pay the $45. For two days, we were also without electricity during the day while the pipeline was being worked on I feel if a little TLC was put into the campground, it would be a wonderful place to stay. The roads and campsites need to be cleaned up and leveled out.

Fabulous facilities. Not super large family friendly for TT. No guests for us because we have 8 children which is a bummer since we have friends in area. Seriously beautiful campground though. I bet in the summer it's amazing with the pool and lake!

KOA website says the place wil be open April 13 to October 1st.
Both. Fish in lake without license but limit is 2 fish.
Yes they actually have a section of the park specifically reserved for large groups including several RV spots, a gazebo, bathrooms/showers and a horse shoe pit. I would recommend calling the office to inquire. If you google little diamond rv park map you will see the area of the park for group camping.
No
I would not think so. Just no fireworks
US 2 goes right past it. The campground is about 4 miles south of the town of Newport WA.
It was clear when I was there, but dusty due to their gravel roads.I was there Mon 7/29/19‐8/2/19. No rain while I was there which could have attributed to the dust issue.
Yes - about 2x2. Great campsites, clean bathrooms, friendly staff - we camo there often.
If you go on kpr.craigslist.org in the housing section you should find them
I know they have Wi-Fi. I do not know how good it is because I bring my own setup
20 a night with power and water and 15 a night without
