Hi Lois, you can recycle AA batteries at the community center or at City Hall (200 Civic Center). In regards to the medicine, you should keep the liquid in the bottle and put it in a zip lock bag before dropping it off in the drop box. Let us know if you have any more questions!
Not that I know of for the batteries. Best Buy has a section in front of the store for battery recycling. As for medicine, yes keep them tightly sealed and the team should be able to accept them or advice you on how to dispose of them properly.
