I just had some punky kid show up at my home saying he was sent by the Lewiston police department to collect empty cans and bottles for the sport teams that is just what he said . Can I get any response from the Lewiston PD? Thank you.

I hear about these fundraising scams all the time. If they’re legit, they’re posted on the website or Facebook page. I know they have to tell you exactly who they’re collecting for and I haven’t heard or been notified of any. Last time I saw a group of girls “fundraising” at Webb’s market. Selling a small white dog for $200 and the lady refused (obviously) because she never gets what she ordered ... More than likely a scam

Yes they can tell u of any booster program to raise money
