I tried to buy a mower from Home Depot they told me I had to get a Home Depot credit card to buy the lawn mower you cannot make payments on it you have to have the credit card so you have to apply for the credit card from Home Depot good luck

I don't think that's quite true. I have used my Visa cards several other purchases including lawn mowers and paint etc. Call your local Home depot and ask the manager this question.
