From a former student: its better to have a class A. With as many endorsements as possible. The availability of jobs just starting are better with a class A. It will be hard to find a job with a class B unless your specifically going to be a school bus driver or something of that nature even then it's better to get your class A.
A class B will allow you to drive a straight truck or bus with the proper endorsement. You need a class A to drive an articulated vehicle ( Tractor+Trailer).
Soon as u get the school the class b is not better than the class a so idk really ik one classmate had a class b it didn't matter tho cause that's for school buses
