Thank you Northwest Trucking Academy instructors and trainers for providing me the essential skills and personal attention needed to enter the trucking industry!! You all ROCK! I'm with May Trucking Company in training and clocked 70 hours in 5 days. I'm exhausted, but remain eager to continue in the industry. My projected date to go solo is March 2. The learning curve has taken me, like a whirlwind, but my life is taking a positive direction and I'm hopeful it will get even better as I gain experience. THANK YOU!

I enjoyed my experience at Northwest Trucking a lot. They make sure you pass! No one gets left behind in this program and you will be out on the road driving right away; I know other programs won't have you driving for a couple weeks. Not at Northwest! Great atmosphere, and even better people. I highly recommend them. I'm glad I chose Northwest!

Small class sizes resulted in excellent one on one training to set the foundation to get my CDL. David and the rest of the staff did everything they could possibly do to make sure we were going to succeed, including setting up job leads that resulted in a driving position with a very respectable company! You can't go wrong investing your time with NWTA!

This is the best place to get your C.D.L. and be ready for whatever you will drive! The training is fantastic hands on, more training out in the field than in the books. Very flexible staff on working with you to get funding and help you find a job after graduation. Best school ever!

From a former student: its better to have a class A. With as many endorsements as possible. The availability of jobs just starting are better with a class A. It will be hard to find a job with a class B unless your specifically going to be a school bus driver or something of that nature even then it's better to get your class A.
They prefer it, so you can start driving right away, but no. It is not a requirement. At least when I attended it wasn't.
