Wonderful place, I love it. My daughter loves it as well. Excellent customer service at the shop as well...

Excellent attraction! Very clean, well designed and a beautiful carousel. Good food for kids as well! Burgers are good. Each carousel is hand crafted which is incredible. Our tour guide Ray helped us out and took us into the basement and showed us very antique carousel animals. We even got to see carvers in action! Here’s a tip; if you want to see people carving, Don’t go on Sundays! They don’t work on Sundays. They’re all volunteers!

This place is amazing! We just stumbled across it, luckily. Beautiful carousel with recently carved whimsical animals attached to refurbished carousel machinery. There is a very nice gift shop & a cafe. You can take a tour to see antique carousel animals & see the workshops where new animals are being created. Free admission, $2 for carousel tokens.

My family had a wonderful time at the Carousel 🎠 The staff was friendly and courteous. The carousel was beautiful inside and out. We got 10 free ride bracelets with our party room rental. The kids loved riding all the different beautiful carousel animals and creatures. They have a little cafe with decent food and prices. They have a cute little gift shop with lots of fun stuff. They also have a guided tour downstairs of how they make the carousel animals. It was pretty cool to see how they are made. We had a wonderful experience. We will definitely be going back.

No age limit, rule is you have to get on and off the animals on your own, they do have seats that would work.
Yes
It's downstairs. There is an elevator and the tours are guided.
Not inside I dont believe, but there is a nice park in the same area
Masks were required when I went. That may have changed. They cleaned off the animal we sat on after each ride
They are normally open daily, 7 days per week. I suspect tomorrow will be no different. But if you telephone in am, people are there before opening.
Sorry for any confusion but these are usually answered by committee members not the businesses themselves. Since it's a holiday the hours may be different. I would highly suggest calling them.
Probably like all city services Closed
Try looking up their Facebook page.
I'm not sure, I would check OPB website, or new paper
You would need to talk with the volunteer coordinator... they do take in new volunteers, but it has to do with who is working on specific animals.
I just viewed it tonight on September 22, 2020. I do not know if this is the original or initial presentation. It was excellent! Now I have to go for a visit!
Bob, I've ridden along side my granddaughter several times without ever paying/using a token of my own. Ellen - I'm not certain, but they seem to be very kind and accommodating and as Bob mentioned, accessible.
Not sure how much it is to have a party, but my son was invited at someone's else's party last week at the Carousel, so I can tell you how it was from that point of view. He had a very good time. Each kid got an all-day pass for the carousel, and were able to ride as many times as they wanted. The room for the party was nice, it had space for lots of people, with several round tables that sit several kids and it included a counter with a sink. The least exciting part was the food. Our hosts apologized for not having food for the parents, because it had to be catered and they said it became too expensive after everything they had to pay for the party. I don't know exactly how it works, but make sure that when you call you ask them about the rules regarding the food. They had their own cake and pastries, but the rest of the food had to be bought through the concession. The food for the kids was a hot dog, chips and juice. Ok, but not great. Overall we had a great time at the party.
They have private event rooms and i believe a playground area behind the building
Sorry I do not know.b

Yep, $2 per person, including the kids. The token machine takes $1 bills and coins only. The Snack Bar and the Gift Shop can take larger bills and credit cards.
