What about rent control ?? Affordable housing ??? Is Portland the next Los Angeles ???? Homelessness needs to be addressed now !!!!

I wouldn't come to Oregon, the Rent prices are OUT OF CONTROL HIGH. I am effectually moving in 2 years time to a State that is more affordable. Gas prices are rising and there is zero safety in the city with the continued violence and riots. My mother had to cancel her visit for all the great hot spots of Portland because there is zero ensured safety.

I would like to erect a self storage center for the homeless. Would you agree the 'problem' has a lot to do with how the homeless of our time do not pick up after themselves. Housing is a ridiculously expensive 'solution' and our Government is asking for another Billion dollars to further address the problem. A billion dollars- I did not make that number up.
