If its not a normal check they only give you so much of it until it clears on the other side. Normal as in a pay check etc. Even my refund check from the IRS had a hold on 4 grand for 24 hrs

If it's a new account they have a $5 minimum or it could be a hold on the check for a few days, just guesses.
